This pathway is being developed for trained candidates and practising professionals. It will combine a knowledge assessment with practical evidence appropriate to the scope of the credential.

Development status: the topics below are a proposed scope, not a final examination blueprint. Eligibility thresholds, assessment format, duration, pass requirements, and fees are not yet confirmed.

Proposed assessment areas

  • Client consultation and service planning
  • Hand and nail anatomy relevant to professional practice
  • Hygiene, infection prevention, and workstation preparation
  • Natural nail care, application techniques, and safe removal
  • Product knowledge, contraindications, and referral boundaries
  • Aftercare, record keeping, and professional conduct

Prepare your evidence

Keep relevant training certificates, course outlines, and a record of professional experience available. Do not send identity documents or client records through the school interest form.

The final candidate handbook will explain accepted evidence and practical assessment arrangements before registration opens.
